  • Its successor is LiteTMS, a new transport management system built from scratch by the same team, based on everything LogisticsERP taught us.
  • In LiteTMS, orders and contractors are free and unlimited. You pay for active users and the services you use, with no setup fee and no minimum term.
  • We help LogisticsERP customers move to LiteTMS personally, from importing records to the first live orders.

The LogisticsERP story

Same road. New vehicle.

LogisticsERP launched in 2017 and spent years doing real work inside real transport companies. Dispatchers ran their orders in it, drivers sent updates from the road, and owners kept an eye on vehicles and documents. We could not have asked for a better school.

Three lessons from LogisticsERP that shaped LiteTMS

  1. A TMS should help from day one

    A company should not have to learn the software before it can get back to transport. That is why the LiteTMS AI assistant walks new dispatchers through every step.

  2. Every click has a cost

    A feature can work perfectly and still get in the way if it hides three menus deep. In LiteTMS, the menu shows only the modules you actually use.

  3. Transport has no average month

    A quiet July and a non-stop December should not cost the same. Hence pay-as-you-go billing instead of a fixed package.

The driver app was one of the pillars of LogisticsERP. With LiteTMS Driver we went further: less tapping, more information in the office, the very second a driver reports something.

Glossary

TMS, CMR, eFTI: a transport glossary

Short, plain-language definitions of the terms that come up when you choose transport software.

TMS
Transport Management System: software that brings orders, fleet, drivers, routes, documents and billing together in one place. LiteTMS is exactly that.
ERP vs TMS
An ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system covers the whole company: finance, HR, warehousing. A TMS focuses on transport and goes deeper there. LogisticsERP combined elements of both; LiteTMS is a TMS you extend with modules when you need them.
Freight forwarding software
Software for forwarders: customer orders, subcontracted carriers, documents and the history of every partnership. In LiteTMS, contractors and orders are unlimited.
CMR
The international consignment note for road haulage, based on the 1956 CMR Convention. It confirms the contract of carriage and that the carrier has taken over the goods.
e-CMR
The electronic consignment note, based on the 2008 Additional Protocol to the CMR Convention, in force since 2011.
eFTI
EU Regulation 2020/1056 on electronic freight transport information. From 9 July 2027, authorities across the EU must accept freight data shared through certified eFTI platforms. Paper does not disappear, but the excuse to reject the digital version does. What it means for carriers
POD
Proof of Delivery: the signature, photo or document that closes an order and clears the way to the invoice.
ADR
The European agreement on the international carriage of dangerous goods by road. In a TMS, that means ADR classes, driver qualifications and expiry dates to keep track of.
Geofencing
A virtual zone on the map, for example around a customer’s warehouse. The system reacts when a vehicle enters or leaves it.
Pay-as-you-go
A billing model where you pay for what you actually used in a given month, not for a package bought in advance.
